Overall, some of my favorite places to take Insta-worthy photography in San Francisco are the Golden Gate Bridge (of course), but particularly the views from Hawk Hill or Battery Park. Twin Peaks, Lombard Street, and Land’s End are also great places for photography.

Plus, it’s located close to nearby areas of natural beauty, such as Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe, and the Big Sur coast.

There are also so many things to see and do when you visit San Francisco! The city is well known for its delicious food such as sourdough bread or clam chowder in a bread bowl! Plus, there are many entertainment options like visiting a comedy club or seeing an NBA game at the Oracle Arena!

Sutro Baths
The Sutro Baths are located at the top of the city near Golden Gate Bridge. Built in 1894, the Sutro Baths was a large, privately owned public saltwater swimming pool facility in the Lands End region of San Francisco. Unfortunately, the baths burned down in 1966, and these days, the ruins of the Sutro Baths are a beautiful and very peaceful spot – ideal for photographs showcasing a former time.
Golden Gate Bridge
Of course, you can’t make a list of Instagrammable spots in San Francisco and not mention the Golden Gate Bridge! The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most popular spots in San Francisco for taking pictures.
The red bridge spans the Golden Gate, a strait between San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean, and is a famous spot in the USA and around the world. It is a great spot to visit for both day and night shots, plus its location on the west side of the city makes it an ideal destination to visit during sunset or sunrise.
Chinatown
San Fran’s Chinatown is the oldest in North America and is a vibrant, colorful neighborhood to wander around. If you’re looking to do some hiking, I’d also recommend bringing a good pair of shoes and some sunscreen.
